~ TOURING GUEST FIDDLERS ~
Dan Middleton

Guest fiddler par excellence.
Bob Hoban

Guest fiddler Bob Hoban came to Yuma, Colorado from Chicago to fiddle with Rufus Krisp. They recorded there on a 4-track reel to reel machine above a pharmacy. The town had 2800 people in it in 1972. 50 years later it has 2800 people in it. Bob was a true talent: standup comic, killer piano, fiddle, guitar and did some tour work for us after Dan.
Sadly lost Bob in 2019. He was a Nashville session pianist whose recording credits include Ernest Tubb, Bobby Osborn, Jesse McReynolds, Jethro Burns, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John Prine, Jerry Jeff Walker and Richie Havens.
Bob toured and recorded with our idol Vassar Clements for nearly 20 years, produced violin great Joe Venuti’s last three albums and was twice nominated for Grammys (as producer, “Best Country Album Of The Year”).
